Storage Administrator
(JNIT Technologies, Inc has an opening in Parlin, NJ) Storage Administrator: Maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets. Manage SAN directors, zones, map and mask LUN from arrays to servers while maintaining a high available redundant architecture leveraging multiple fabrics and path redundancy. Configure and manage EMC power path solution and Nimble connection manager for path failover, load balancing, path management and automatic I/O failure detections. Implement disaster recovery solutions using SRDF/A and SRDF consistent groups for production systems and testing disaster recovery readiness. Develop and execute the testing processes utilized to validate the disaster recovery plans. Execute across-site replication of significant DR data. Will work in unanticipated locations. Requires Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 1 year experience or Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 5 years progressive experience. 1 year must include experience with Hitachi VSP and VSP G1000, HUS 600, VSP G600, AMS, HNAS, EMC VNX, Symmetrix DMX and VMAX series, ISILON, HP EVA and P6000, NIMBLE, NetApp FAS filers 7-Mode, Cisco Fabric Manager, and Brocade Network Advisor.
